Pen Y Garn opens with the National Garden Scheme

We were delighted to join the list of gardens open to the public in 2018   We are opening on the  weekend  of the June 11th and 12th July in 2020, between 11 and 5 and by arrangement between July and September.

There are 21 NGS gardens in a 25 mile range of Pen Y Garn that open to the public as well as National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney so if you are keen on a garden this is a great part of the world to be visiting.

The National Garden Scheme (NGS), has about 3,700 gardens that open to the public each year.  Garden owners open their gardens to the public sharing their love and enthusiasm for gardening and raising money through entry fees, teas and cake sales.

The NGS celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2017 and so far donated over £50 million to nursing charities in the UK.

It is going to be a busy year of weeding, primping and cake baking!

Guests staying at either Pen Y Garn Cottage or 94 High Street may also be interested in booking a garden tour and making a donation to the NGS.
