Shopping – Food

Cwmcerrig Farm Shop sells lots of local produce, fruit, vegetables, meat, bread, cheese, eggs, pies and quite a bit more.  It also has a restaurant for lunches.  The food quality and produce is excellent and we tend to use it as for the majority of our fresh produce.

From the Cottage turn right and right by Ashfields and head through Foelgastell and Cefneithin.  After passing under the A48 you will find Cwmcerrig on the left – there is parking outside and to the side of the shop.

Cross Hands

Co-op and Aldi supermarkets are just off the A48 roundabout and there are several smaller independent shops in the village.

Morrisons, Tesco Extra and all food shops, large and small can be found within Carmarthen.

Other Shopping

There are large shopping Centres in Carmarthen, Swansea and at Troste Park in Llanelli with the usual “High Street” brands.

Post Office: Cefneithin – turn right from the property, right at the end of the road by Ashfields, go through Foelgastell in to Cefneithin and the Post Office is on the right opposite the school.  They sell newspapers and other essentials.  We are regular customers!

There are also post offices at Porthyrhyd (turn left by Ashfields) and in the Co-op in Cross Hands and Tesco in Carmarthen.
